Sketches in Thyme {Believe in You}

Good morning! I have a Sketches in Thyme sketch to share with you today.
I don't know if about you but I really struggle with taking pictures of myself and making sure I get pictures of me in with the kids. I have to keep reminding myself that it's not for me, it's for them. How often do you scrap yourself?

Princess Layout

Hello! My layout today is of my cute little Princess. :) She loved wearing hats. I've been holding onto an old kit from Imaginisce called Enchanted. I'd been saving it for the perfect picture(s). I think I found one. :)

I loved adding and layering all the embellishments. They were perfect. I did punch a border using a Martha Stewart punch on some grey cardstock. Here's a few close up's of all the fun embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a scrappy day! :)

Layout {SISTERS Sweet Summer Memories}

Is it summer yet? As I'm going through pictures I sure am wishing it was! Especially when I found this picture of me and my beautiful sister! Look at the color of the water! My sister lives in Vegas and we love to go visit and go swimming! We have a great time.
Simple Stories has some beautiful colors in their lines that just worked perfectly with this picture! Here's a few close up's.
Isn't that the cutest swim suit!? Just so adorable!
For the title I was able to find some yellow glittery thickers to make everything!
Are you ready for summer yet?
Thanks for stopping by!

Layout {Bath Time}

Hello! The layout I have today coincides with the layout I did a few days ago I created the layouts together so they could go side by side in my album. I used the same designer papers on both layouts to help tie them together and I found an older sketch from PageMaps- HERE, that worked perfectly with my picture.

I had fun stitching these circles. The circles make me think of bubbles in the tub. :) I used We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy Circle Tool with a straight stitch attachment. Love how they turned out. I also added some Heidi Swapp Epherma hearts. I also sponged some Tim Holz Pumice Stone distress ink all around the edges of my bits and pieces of paper I used on this layout.
I also used a Martha Stewart punch to create the fun scalloped borders. I love how cute this punch is, it just adds a nice soft touch.
Then for my title I used Amy Tangerine Thickers- Match and some Fancy Pants Pink large Alphas. I felt like the pink alphas got lost in my pink cardstock so I decided to outline them with a black pen to make them stand out a bit more.

Here's another look at my final layout. :)
 Just love that adorable face of my youngest! If you missed the previous post make sure to check it out HERE, more cute pictures of this adorable girl!
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Nuts About Sketches {Max the Monkey & Me}

Happy Monday! I know, I know a bit of an oxymoron but we have to be optimistic around here, right!? ;) lol Especially when I have a fun new sketch to share with you!
It's Nuts About Sketches new sketch!! Here's my take on it.
It was a fun sketch to work with. It's really rare that I pull out the sewing machine but I really wanted to use it on this layout. I cut down my designer sheet by a quarter inch on the side and top. Did a bit of distressing on all sides and then layered it onto a sheet of black cardstock, then did a straight stitch all around. Here's some close up pictures of some of the embellishments...
The banner was a straight strip that I cut apart to be able to follow the curve of the circle picture. I love how she did the cute banners on the sketch, definitely not something I would normally do but LOVE the look of it. Make sure to go over to Nuts About Sketches and check out the sketch!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
