This month
Scrap It Girl's challenge this month is Tag's or Bags! I thought that sounded so fun that I knew I wanted to incorporate both into my layout! I love this picture of my second daughter. She was only 2 years old and we had were having a blast playing in the leaves! That was 8 years ago! Where does the time go!? I love that I at least have these sweet pictures of my little girl. The best part is the cute little sweater she is wearing, that sweater was my sweater! I wore that sweater when my parents immigrated from Mexico to the United States when I was only 11 months old!
Now onto the layout. I used Fancy Pants Happy Go Lucky collection that I just picked up at the Scrapbook Expo in UT (and loved every second of it!). I LOVE this line! It even a some decorative bags & tags with it that I was able to use. I love the tags! They are perfect to do a bit of journaling on and tell the story of my cute little sweater. ;) I went through and inked up the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Here are a few close ups of some of the embellishments.
