Sketch N Scrap {Fun on the Slopes}

Good morning! I'm so excited to share with you today some fun and exciting news! I have been chosen to be part of a great design team over at Sketch N Scrap! They have such fun sketches and challenges make sure to check them out! Today I share with you my first layout for Sketch N Scrap! 

Today's Sketch N Scrap sketch- 

Here is my take on the sketch-

For my title I used a mix of alpha's- some big white foam ones and some smaller, flat ones. Then I went along using some enamal dots to break up my main title from my subtitle. I also did a bit of faux stitching along the pink alpha's of my subtitle.

A fun layout using a fun line from Moxxie. It is one of Moxxie's older lines but still a favorite. Do you ever hoard and use favorites sparingly so that you can continue to use it!? No? It really can't just be me. ;)

Our Tree

Good morning! Are we all set and ready for Christmas!? :) My layout today was of us getting our tree ready in 2014 (have I ever mentioned how behind I am at scrapping my pictures!? lol) We love having a real tree in the house, the smell is wonderful. The kids all help pick it out and prepare it to bring in and help set it up. So much fun. 

I went around the edges of my patterned paper and did some piercing. Those Alpha's that I used for the title so much fun and amazing!

I loved the dear flair and that adorable metal snowflake!

Christmas Eve

Good morning! Christmas is nearing! Are you ready? I'm definitely NOT! lol No matter how much I prepare I always feel so unprepared for the big day! lol

Toothless Grin

Hello! I thought a layout not related to Christmas would be a nice break before the holidays hit. :) I need a breather before I pick myself back up and finish all the holiday plans! 

This girl wandered around for about a week with a "snaggle tooth". Then it finally fell out! I love those little toothless grins! Moxxie's cute little tooth collection was perfect for it!

Sketches in Thyme {Santa Beard Look Alike}

Good morning! today's sketch from Sketches in Thyme has some fun shapes! My biggest problem with this layout.... was coming up with a title! lol Please tell me I'm not alone! ;)

Our oldest is a bit of stinker at times. ;) We were out doing some Christmas shopping when she found this adorable little Santa that she just HAD to get to give to her dad because the beard on the Santa reminded her of him. lol Kids! ;)

 This sketch was a ton of fun to play with, with all it's different shapes. The diamonds, the circle, the torn edges. Just so much fun! Here's a few close up's. The corrugated paper added some fun texture to this layout.

HI! I LOVE brought colorful layouts during the winter. Even though winter brings it's own beauty I still need some bright happy colors to liven up the dark dreary days. 

"happy" in cork adds some fun texture to the layout.

This layout was always a great way to use up scraps.

Hello! I can't believe 2 years have gone by since I took this picture with my girls. I'm always hiding from the camera but I've been working a little more on getting into more pictures with my girls. I loved this collection the moment I saw it. So cute and I felt went well with my picture.

Good morning! I can't even tell you how much I love these two faces! My middle child and her adorable cousin. They are so cute. 

I fussy cut out the doily and rose from a sheet and tucked it behind the corner of the picture. 

I love layering embellishments. The clusters I think add interest to a layout.

She Reads

Good morning! The cold weather has just set in around here and I'm already dreaming of beautiful summer days like this one. My daughters love climbing a big willow tree in my moms back yard in the summer and love to sit up there to read.

Happy Christmas

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a cute layout I did of my youngest daughter when she was only a year old. I love using pinks and blue for winter/Christmas pages. It just seems like such a nice change from the traditional red and greens.

I really enjoy the glitter. I reminds me of the snow. 

I even did a bit of stitching on this layout.

I also created my own little journaling card to match the layout. I used some vellum and layered it on some green cardtsock.
