Celebracion Card

Good morning! I have a gorgeous card to share with you today. I used Moxxie's new line Day of the Dead. If you haven't seen it, you really should go check it out. I love how rich and vibrant the colors are and the art amazing. I love the sugar skulls!
For my base I used a sheet of black cardstock, making my card a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I then layered on those gorgeous yummy papers. My favorite part about these papers is how they look so much like strips of washi tape! I distressed around the edges and used my favorite Martha Stewart border punch. I fussy cut the little doily looking oval out of the cut out sheet and added dimension by "popping" it up with 3D foam dots.
This was a very quick and easy card to put together.
What is your favorite part of the card? Let me know in the comments!

XC (Cross Country) layout

I'd like to share another layout I created using pictures from the gal I mentioned in my Monday post HERE. I used Moxxie's Cross Country line again.
I had fun layering different pieces of designer paper from this line behind my picture. But before I did I did some distressing around the edges of each one. Here's some close up's of the embellishments.

Are you runner? Have a runner in your life? This is an awesome line to scrapbook those pictures!

Running Journal

Good morning! Are you a runner? If so I have a cute little way to track your miles, notes, paths, anything your heart desires. ;) Moxxie's new line Cross Country line was great for such a project.
I started out with a small composition notebook which I covered using a sheet from Cross Country line. Then used Moxxie's coordinating sticker sheet and Alpha's to decorate the front. For a finishing touch a I wrapped some twine around the spine. Here's some close up's.

Cross Country No Excuses Layout

Good morning! Today I have layout to share with you, using Moxxie's new Cross Country line. I used a pictures of a friends daughter who runs cross country. I've known this beautiful girl since she was 2 years old. I had so much creating the layout of her.
I love to cut my designer paper down by a 1/4" on a side and along the top so I can matte it onto some cardstock. I just love the finished look and extra stability it provides. I distressed along all the edges just using the edge of my scissors. Matted the pictures and had so much fun with stickers that coordinate with this line. Here's a few close up's.
For the title I cut apart one of the cutout's, distressed it and popped it up with some foam dots and folded over a corner.
I fussy cut the runner from one of the sheets in this line.
Love the word stickers! They are so fun and easy to use, I just did some distressing around the edges before adhering them to the page.

If you have a runner in the family this is definitely a must have line. What do you think about it?
Let me know in the comments! I would love to hear from you.

My Sweet Girls Layout

Hello! Love how this layout came together! I don't play much with circles but I've been trying to incorporate them more, you know trying something out of my comfort zone.
I love being able to pull out kit and have everything just coordinate so nicely! I used an old Scraptastic Club kit and started cutting out random sized circles. Then distressed the edges. Before adhering down my yellow diagonal lined sheet I cut a 1/4" off the top and side and matted it on a sheet of dark grey cardstock. Next spritzing it down with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine mists. When my cute little splatters dried I began arranging my circles. Love the results!
Adding little bits of embellishments was fun! Here's a few close up's of them.

Here I fussy cut out of the circles off of a sheet and popped up the cute little heart in the middle with some foam dots. Then I outlined my page some faux stitching around the edge.
This was a great way to use up some of the my scraps I had left in my kit. Loved how it all came together. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Fun in the Sun layout

Oh, how I love summer time! I never tire of scrapbooking summer pictures. I was digging around through some older pictures, back from... 2004. Don't tell me I'm the only one that has pictures from clear back then to scrapbook!? lol I sure hope I'm not! :)

I started out with my base and spritzed it with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine. I just love the splatters of ink. Then I began layering and strips of paper, and embellishing.
I cut apart some banners and tied a bit of twine in the corners of the middle one. Next I popped it up with some foam dots behind it.
My favorite were the alpha's! Aren't these adorable?
What's your favorite season? Do you tend to scrapbook one more than the other?
Love to hear about it in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
