Sweet Music

Hello! My layout today was inspired using a sketch and their Circle Roundup from Scrapbook Circle.  I also used a color challenge from Scrap Much?. This layout of my 2nd daughter performing her first Viola solo. She did such a great job.  

 Here's some close up's. For the title I used some black foam Thickers that I then traced out with a white Signo pen along with some foil alphas. I love the foil Alpha's! They look awesome when they catch the light just right. 

 I had some washi tape that was perfect for this layout. Along with some fun puffy stickers.

 I also popped up my middle picture with some foam adhesive to give a little dimension.

Sketches in Thyme {Snowbody Like You}

Good morning! I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day. Today's Sketches in Thyme Project Life card sketch was a fun one to work on! Here's my take on the Project Life card sketch...

I love the colors! I've been really enjoying matching up the pink and that aqua color together lately. I did some faux stitching around it and then embellished it with enamal dots, some Thickers and misc. bits of embellies I had around.

Next step is to add that Project Life card on my traditional 12x12 layout. For this layout I used a sketch I found on ScrapSquads Facebook page.

I love how it all turned out!

It really was a fun layout to work on.The colors just pop and are so fun a "snowy" layout. :) That sketch was a great way for me to use up some of my scraps too.

Scrap With Us {Full of Personality}

New month, new challenge! Scrap With Us has a fun sketch challenge to share with you. Here is my take on the sketch.

It was such a fun sketch! I loved all the fun and different embellishments it allows for you to use. Here's some close up's.  I did some layering faux stitching with a white Signo pen around the word "Trouble" and used some metallic gel pens to create the circles in the background. I also used some inks to splatter around. 

For some contrast on the title I used different size and style alpha's.

I love that adorable cork camera! Also, the button was the perfect yellow! It matched my papers so well. I did a tiny bit of journaling around my circle picture.

Winter Fun

I have a layout to share using a kit from Scrapbook Circle and a sketch from Sketches in Thyme. 

For the edge I tore a strip and then punched the brown cardstock and layered them together.

The title was created using Fancy Pants Light Green Alpha's and Heidi Swapp chipboard stickers. I love that cute little metal snowflake.

Here's some more close up's of some of the other embellishments. I love that adorable cork heart and that beautiful striped button.

Sketches in Thyme Project Life {Carry an Umbrella}

Hello! Today I've got a Project Life card I've created and used in another traditional layout.

I just love that cute little bird and umbrella! I covered them in some ink and then used some Stickles.

Brrrr...

Nothing like going sledding on a cold January day! We went sledding down Old Main Hill up at the USU campus. The funny part was that we didn't have sleds and the girls just went sliding down on their bums! lol 

 For this layout I followed this sketch from Scrapbook Circle and combined it with a challenge from Paper Issues.

I love a sketch that inspires me to try something new, I loved those diamonds! Definitely something a little different from my normal style.

My favorite is the foam glitter covered 'BRR'. I love a little bit sparkle. ;)

Scrap With Us {Winter Layout & Challenge}

Hello! How were your holidays? I hope everyone's were great! Mine were busy, busy! Although, I do enjoy the time spent with my cute little family. Now that the holidays are behind us I have a fun challenge to get you back into the swing of craftiness! ;)

Today's challenge is with Scrap With Us, if you haven't joined yet, take the time to do so! We have some other fun challenges going on there and we'd love to have you join us. :) My challenge for this month is to create a layout using a photo taken outdoors in the winter. Any photo taken during the winter season! :) Here is my layout.

I took this picture up on Utah State University Campus last year. I LOVED how the tree looked in the snow with the sun behind it. Just beautiful. We had gone sledding that day as a family. Such fun memories. :) I used Fancy Pants Timber Grove Collection. I did some faux stitching here and there and added some sequins for bit of bling.
