Toothless Grin

Hello! I thought a layout not related to Christmas would be a nice break before the holidays hit. :) I need a breather before I pick myself back up and finish all the holiday plans!

This girl wandered around for about a week with a "snaggle tooth". Then it finally fell out! I love those little toothless grins! Moxxie's cute little tooth collection was perfect for it!

Scrap With Us {Merry Christmas Layout & Challenge}

Good morning! It's been sooooo cold around here! Perfect weather for scrapbooking and staying in with some hot chocolate and lots of fun scrapbooking supplies. So to give you a little extra incentive to get scrapbooking I have a fun challenge (actually a total of 4 challenges!) for you over at Scrap With Us along with an awesome prize! Read more about it on the blog- HERE.

The cold weather here was my inspiration for this challenge. We had some beautiful snow for Thanksgiving and it was followed by a nasty cold snap. The only good thing about this cold snap is the gorgeous frost on the trees. So much sparkle! :) So my challenge to you is to create a layout with some SPARKLE to it! You can use Stickles, sequins, glitter, glittery washi tape, etc. Anything that will add a little sparkle. :)

I used Moxxie's new line, Season's Greetings. I just LOVE the colors and those adorable deer along the bottom. For my sparkles I used Stickles and sequins.
Here's a little close up of some of the sparkle. :)

Now go check out all the fun challenges at Scrap With Us

Dia de los Muertos Layout

Hello again! How is everyone doing? Have you SEEN Moxxie's new line Day of the Dead? You haven't!? Uh.... what are you waiting for go! I'll even wait for you to go check it out, here's a link to get you there faster- Click HERE. I'll wait for you, just hurry!......................
Now, let me ask you again, have you SEEN Moxxie's new line!? It's gorgeous, right! The minute I saw this line I knew I had the PERFECT picture of my sister for a fun layout!
Are you ready to see it?
What do you think!? Cool, huh! I started out with a base that I cut down by 1/4" on top and on the side, then adhered it to some black cardstock. Next, I sprayed and sprinkled some Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine all over it and then let it dry. Then the fun of layering all those gorgeous papers came next. I did a bit of punching and some distressing on them. I also added a doily and some flowers.
For the title I used some of Moxxie's Alpha's. You can really see the ink splatters up close here. LOVE the glittery shine to them.
As for this gorgeous sugar skull I did a bit of fussy cutting, propped it up with some 3D foam dots for dimension and lined it with a few Imaginisce jewels.
Love to hear what you think of the new line, let me know in the comments!

Day of the Dead Gift Box

Hello! I've got another fun treat to share with you using the amazing line from Moxxie- Day of the Dead! I found a cute little box that I had acquired from my Stampin' Up! days and dressed it up a bit.
Here's a close up. I did some layering, punching and distressing on it. Added some Imginisce jewels and added dimension by popping up the sugar skull with 3D foam dots.
I can't wait to fill it with some goodies and gift it! Let me know in the comments what you think of Moxxie's Day of the Dead line.

Celebracion Card

Good morning! I have a gorgeous card to share with you today. I used Moxxie's new line Day of the Dead. If you haven't seen it, you really should go check it out. I love how rich and vibrant the colors are and the art amazing. I love the sugar skulls!
For my base I used a sheet of black cardstock, making my card a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I then layered on those gorgeous yummy papers. My favorite part about these papers is how they look so much like strips of washi tape! I distressed around the edges and used my favorite Martha Stewart border punch. I fussy cut the little doily looking oval out of the cut out sheet and added dimension by "popping" it up with 3D foam dots.
This was a very quick and easy card to put together.
What is your favorite part of the card? Let me know in the comments!

XC (Cross Country) layout

I'd like to share another layout I created using pictures from the gal I mentioned in my Monday post HERE. I used Moxxie's Cross Country line again.
I had fun layering different pieces of designer paper from this line behind my picture. But before I did I did some distressing around the edges of each one. Here's some close up's of the embellishments.

Are you runner? Have a runner in your life? This is an awesome line to scrapbook those pictures!

Running Journal

Good morning! Are you a runner? If so I have a cute little way to track your miles, notes, paths, anything your heart desires. ;) Moxxie's new line Cross Country line was great for such a project.
I started out with a small composition notebook which I covered using a sheet from Cross Country line. Then used Moxxie's coordinating sticker sheet and Alpha's to decorate the front. For a finishing touch a I wrapped some twine around the spine. Here's some close up's.

Cross Country No Excuses Layout

Good morning! Today I have layout to share with you, using Moxxie's new Cross Country line. I used a pictures of a friends daughter who runs cross country. I've known this beautiful girl since she was 2 years old. I had so much creating the layout of her.
I love to cut my designer paper down by a 1/4" on a side and along the top so I can matte it onto some cardstock. I just love the finished look and extra stability it provides. I distressed along all the edges just using the edge of my scissors. Matted the pictures and had so much fun with stickers that coordinate with this line. Here's a few close up's.
For the title I cut apart one of the cutout's, distressed it and popped it up with some foam dots and folded over a corner.
I fussy cut the runner from one of the sheets in this line.
Love the word stickers! They are so fun and easy to use, I just did some distressing around the edges before adhering them to the page.

If you have a runner in the family this is definitely a must have line. What do you think about it?
Let me know in the comments! I would love to hear from you.

Happy Birthday Wiper Card

Hello! I love making cards! In fact when I very first was introduced to paper crafts clear back in.... 2004! Wow! That seems so long ago! I mostly made cards. I didn't really start with layouts until the last few years. So every once in a while I get a little nostalgic and get making a card! Of course they usually have to be a card that's fun and maybe a bit interactive. :) Today I have a fun wiper card to share with you using Moxxie's Cheerleading line.
I used different sized circle punches and punched out of circles from each of the designer sheets in the Cheerleading line. I also fussy cut some stars out and popped them and some of the circles up with some foam dots. Happy Birthday was done with Moxxie's Alpha's.

Here are a couple more pictures I took with my lovely assistant/daughter to show you how it works.

I found a great tutorial for this fun card at splitcoaststampers.com. They did such a great job explaining it, click HERE to see it.

Do you like to make different or interactive cards? What kind are you favorites? I'd love to hear all about it in the comments!

Cheer Jar of Goodies

Good morning! I have another project to share with you using Moxxie's new Cheerleading line. This one is full of chocolaty goodness! :)

Using a wide mouth mason jar, I decorated it using some designer paper and few stickers from the Cheerleading line.

Next I wrapped up the adorable jar. I just couldn't leave at that. So I created a cute little tag to tie around the top.
All ready to go some cute little cheerleader!

THE Super Shot layout

Good morning!! What's on the agenda for today? Any crafty fun? Maybe you just need some inspiration. ;) I've got an awesome fun layout to hopefully do just that. :)

My baby sister just got married last year and during the reception I set up a little make shift photo booth. Let me tell you, it was a hit with all the little girls! They took so many "Super shots" as they called them. I LOVE that they did, the pictures were perfect!
Moxxie's new Cheerleading line was perfect for this picture.
I matted my main designer paper onto a sheet of black cardstock, but before I did I distressed the edges by running the edge of a pair of scissors along it all four sides. Then once matted I cut strips and distressed them to layer behind the picture. Next, I used some Heidi Swapp Black Vlevet & Tinsel color shine mists. To get the big droplets I unscrew the top and just flick some of the ink off the end of the tube. I used Moxxie's White Alpha's for the title and fussy cut some stars out and popped them up with some foam dots.
Next I outlined the big star with some Icicle Stickles.
Then I added some pieces of black twine that I tucked in behind a star.
Well I hope that gave you some inspiration to and do a bit of craftiness today! Let me know in the comments what your plans are.

Moxxie {3- Happy Birthday Cards}

Good Morning! How was everyone's Memorial Day weekend? It was quiet and rainy around my place, but very welcomed. The kids are mostly done with activities and out of school for the summer.  I'm ready for life to slow down for just a little bit! ;)

Today I want to share with you some really fun Birthday cards I made using one of Moxxie's new lines- Magical Moments.
This line is so bright and colorful! I love how the colors are perfect for summer but it's the perfect line for any Disney trip layouts or projects! Such a cute fun line. Want to see the cute Birthday cards I made using that adorable line? ;)
The really awesome part is when you open them! I used the same technique on all three for the inside but they all look different. We'll start with the first card on the left. The base of this card is black cardstock I then cut out a piece from the Magical Moments Cutouts and layered. Next I stamped the sentiment right onto the cutout.
Now for the inside.....
I created a little "gift" with some balloons that I cut out freehand out of some of the scraps I had from this same line. Then tied on some bakers twine to the ends of them and stamped my sentiment along the top.

For the next card I started out with a red sheet of cardstock for the base. I then rounded up some scraps I had and cut the ends to created little banners. Then using a black journaling pen to create some faux stitching around the edge.
Onto the inside. I love stars! I just fussy cut them from the sheet Wishes and adhered them all over.

Last but definitely not least..... For this one I used a yellow cardstock base layered with a piece from the sheet Dreams Come True. Next I added "Happy Birthday" using Moxxie's Black Alpha's. I then used the banner from the sticker sheet, added some Imaginisce jewels in between each one and a few by the sentiment.
If you thought one "gift" was cute, in the first card you'll really love this one! I love how adorable the gifts look stacked up. I wrapped some ribbon on each one and added bows, to really make them look like gifts
Now I told you at the beginning that I had used the same technique for the inside of all three cards. I found this awesome pin on Pinterest and had to give it a try. To see it Click HERE
I loved how fun and easy these cards were to make!

Moxxie {Live to Play Layout}

Hello! I have a fun layout to share with you today! The best part is I'm using Moxxie's new Softball line and NOT using it for anything softball! I love doing that with lines! It's a bit challenging for me at times but I really love the challenge. I totally love the end result! lol Ok, I won't tease you any more here is my layout.
This picture is of my two younger sisters and my first daughter. Pulling out this picture brought back so many fun and fond memories. Love those girls!
My base a sheet from Moxxie's new softball line called Fastpitch. Then as I started digging through some of my stash I found these cute hearts I had cut out using my Silhouette Cameo a looong time ago and they had just been sitting around waiting for the perfect layout. :) I layered on top of some dark brown cardstock to really make it stand out. I inked up the edges with some Prima Chalk Ink- Knotted Wood. I then started adding in elements from the cut out sheet and the stickers all over that didn't necessarily say Softball. Here's some close up's.
I did add some ink splatters all over the page. Also added a few staples and some brads for some added texture!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Moxxie {Blog Hop}

Good morning! Is it really May already!? These months are just flying by! But if it’s a new month it means it’s time for another MOXXIE blog hop! I don’t know about you but I always look forward to seeing everyone’s amazing projects! The Muses always seem to pull out all the stops to create some amazing things!  Make sure you read to the bottom to find out how to WIN one of these fantastic NEW lines!!

For today’s blog hop, out of the three BRAND NEW awesome lines, I was given the new softball line- Fastpitch to work with.

This one was a bit of a challenge for me because the extent of sports in our household are Soccer, Dance & Tumbling! So I wasn't sure what I was going to do at first but in the end I decided I wanted to show you different ways to use this gorgeous line!
What do you think?
I love the colors and the designs on these papers! For the notebook I used a mini composition notebook and covered front and back leaving the original tape for the binding uncovered. I then inked up the edges with Prima Chalk Ink - Knotted Wood. Then using some of the awesome cardstock stickers that go with this line I, created a little banner and tied some linen thread onto the ends. To make them stand out a bit more, I traced around them with a fine dark brown pen.
The flowers, I punched out with a couple of Stampin’ Up! Punches; I layered them and added a button. Then I used Moxxie’s Brown Alpha’s to spell Notes.
Such a cute little notebook to carry in your purse!

Now for my favorite! The cute little box! This turned out adorable!
I started out by taking some dark brown cardstock and cutting it down to fit the faces of the box. I then inked the edges with Prima Chalk Ink - Knotted Wood. Now for the really fun part! I followed this TUTORIAL for this quick and easy, but super cute flower! Then for additional ones I had some Stampin' Up! punches. I wrapped the twine around the box several times (this box opens from the top) and then spread it out to to draw more attention to the flower.
I added some buttons to the middle of a few flowers and used a white pen to draw a few dots here and there. I also added in some cardstock stickers on the top. Now for the "Princess" sticker I cut apart a bigger sticker it was a part of. Don't be afraid to do something like that! :) Here's a couple shots of the top.
And what do we always need to do when we create such an adorable box!? Well, I always feel the need to fill it with chocolates! ;)
